FHCA Announces 2008 Art Studio Tours

The Francis Hardy Center for the Arts in downtown Ephraim is pleased to announce the schedule for its 2008 Art Studio Tours, beginning Friday, June 27 from 4 – 9 pm. Enjoy a guided trolley tour with a behind-the-scenes visit to the studios of some of Door County’s finest working artisans.

The first tour will take participants to the studios of nationally recognized artists Keith and Deanna Clayton, who specialize in contemporary fine glass, nationally renowned portrait artist Jim Ingwersen, and nationally renowned painter Charles “Chick” Peterson. Participants have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists while enjoying a private demonstration as well as refreshments and dinner at the Mission Grille in Sister Bay.

Reservations are now being accepted for the three studio tours scheduled for Friday, June 27, Friday, August 29, and Friday, September 26. The ticket price per person is $75 (plus tax) and includes transportation by Door County Trolley, hors d’oeuvres, a cocktail, dinner (a choice of three entrees), dessert, and gratuity.
