FHCA Seeks Housing for 2008 Summer Intern

The Francis Hardy Center for the Arts in downtown Ephraim is looking for gracious community members who would be willing to provide housing for a 12-week period from May to August for their summer intern.

The non-profit Francis Hardy Center for the Arts benefits each summer by the involvement of highly motivated and enthusiastic summer interns. The college students selected for our internship in arts management are directly involved with exhibition implementation, special events, coordination of educational programs, and marketing for the summer season. The students learn firsthand about all facets of arts management as well as the importance of community spirit and volunteerism in a not-for-profit organization. Such diverse opportunities are challenging, offering the intern a well-structured learning experience.

This is a paid internship, so a portion of the stipend paid to the individual can be applied towards housing. If you or someone you know is interested in providing a living space for the 2008 intern please contact Executive Director Jan Comstock at 920.854.2210 or [email protected]. For more information about the center’s internship program please visit http://www.thehardy.org or send e-mail to [email protected].
