Fiber Art Highlighted at Plum Bottom Gallery

Plum Bottom Gallery, 4999 Plum Bottom Road in Egg Harbor, will host a fiber-art show Aug. 21, 10 am – 4 pm, featuring four artists who create framed embroideries and fiber paintings. 

Gail Gilson Pierce creates vibrant works and will be on location, 1-3 pm, to discuss them. Door County artist Michele Cohn makes fiber paintings that capture the peninsula’s scenery in colorful ways. Jean Corby of New York creates brilliant framed embroideries, with her Flower Girls series a specialty. Valerie Weberpal makes fun collectible dolls that are full of whimsy and personality.
