Film Screenings at TAP

Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) is screening a number of films in late October.

On Oct. 26 at 7:30 pm, Dove will be shown, followed by a discussion with the director, Bernard Anthony Lewandowski, and one of the film’s co-stars, Ryan Patrick Shaw. Dove is a suspense film that follows best friends on a weekend getaway and astronomy expedition where they encounter ominous things in their environment.

Part psychological thriller and part science fiction, Dove is the first film of Lewandowski’s Trilogy de Natura et Forma. This trilogy includes the upcoming post-apocalyptic drama Ashley and the revisionist western, Tormenta.

This film contains rough language and violent images, and is not recommended for children under 12.

Admission to Dove is $5 at the door.

On Oct. 31 at 7 pm, TAP will screen The Little Shop of Horrors and House on Haunted Hill for their Halloween Film Festival.

The Little Shop of Horrors is the original film that inspired the hit musical, and is also the film debut of Jack Nicholson. House on Haunted Hill is the camp horror classic starring Vincent Price.

Audience members are invited to come in costumes. Admission to both classic horror films is only $2.
