The Miller Art Museum announces a final call for entries for the 39th Juried Annual Exhibit from September 20 – November 4. Artists may submit up to two pieces in all 2-dimensional media using a CD or flashdrive. The entry fee is $20 and must accompany the entry form.
Both emerging and professional artists, 18 or older, in Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, and Oconto counties are eligible and invited to participate in this overview of art juried by art professionals.
Works must be original, completed within the last two years, not under the direction of a teacher in a class or workshop, and not previously exhibited in Door County. Works may or may not be for sale.
The jury panel will select three Special Merit and three Honorable Mention cash awards. The Gerhard CF Miller Award of Excellence, also a cash award, chosen by the museum staff, is given in memory of Gerhard, the founder.
The public opening reception will be Sept. 20, 5 – 6:30 pm with announcement of awards at 5:30 pm.
The postmark entry deadline is Aug. 18. Hand deliveries can be brought to the museum or office through Aug. 20.
