Final Days of ‘From the Studios’

Peninsula School of Art’s exhibit From the Studios wraps up its run on Jan. 5. The exhibit is a juried celebration of the work created in the PenArt studios and in the home studios of PenArt students and members, as well as selected works from 2019 featured faculty members.

The exhibit juror was Trina May Smith, MFA. Smith is a practicing artist and lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Her work is exhibited nationally in solo and group exhibitions.

Smith chose the following winners for PenArt’s first-ever juried student/member exhibit: First: “Harbor” by Christy Kelly-Bentgen; Second: “Fish Tug Betty” by Rick Brawner; Third: “Pennant Play” by Jim Rossol; and People’s Choice: “Horse in Black & White” by Tom Jordan. Peninsula School of Art is located at 3900 Cty F in Fish Creek. The exhibit is open 8 am – 5 pm, Tuesday through Saturday until Jan. 5.
