Final Events for Door County Reads

Two events remain for Door County Reads 2011, highlighting Ray Bradbury’s novel, Fahrenheit 451.

On Friday, Feb. 18 at 7 pm the Crossroads at Big Creek will host David Zach, a visionary thinker with a future-oriented state of mind, who will present “The Strange and Wonderful Futures of Ray Bradbury.” With a sense of humor, sense of timelessness, and sure ability to share ideas and metaphorical thoughts, Zach will tie Bradbury’s stories and visions to attendees’ own lives and futures.

On Friday, Feb. 19 at 2 pm Door County Reads will present Sam Weller, whose Feb. 3 presentation was rescheduled as a “Bonus Grand Finale.” Also taking place at the Crossroads, Weller will discuss the life and works of Bradbury. Weller is the author of the The Bradbury Chronicles, an award-winning biography of the Fahrenheit 451 author. For more information visit http://www.bradburychronicles.com/biography.htm.
