Final “Music Heals” Concert Features Edi Gbordzi & Projkt Timbukale

On March 16 at 7:30 pm, Edi Gbordzi with Projkt Timbukale (The best of Reggae) will perform at the Baileys Harbor Cornerstone Pub. Gbordzi will also offer free master classes in African Drumming and Dance at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall on March 16 at 2 pm.

Gbordzi is a performing artist and instructor from Ghana, West Africa. He is a professional choreographer, song composer and musician. A native of the Ewe Ethnic People of the Volta Region of Ghana, he grew up playing music with senior musicians and drummers in the community, at church and in school. Gbordzi went on to study traditional drum and dance at the Institute of African Studies – University of Ghana.

A percentage of all ticket sales will benefit The Healing Project of Door County. The Healing Project is a collaboration between Ministry Door County Medical Center and the Community Clinic of Door County that provides free integrative health care services to men and women of Door County living with cancer.

Tickets are $15 and the class is free to the public.
