Final Performances of ‘A Murder Is Announced’ at Peninsula Players

The final performances of Peninsula Players Theatre’s A Murder Is Announced will be July 26-28. In this play written by Leslie Darbon, Agatha Christie’s endearing yet shrewd detective Miss Marple is on the hunt for a crafty killer.

Penny Slusher is portraying the sharp spinster in Miss Marple’s debut at Peninsula Players Theatre. “I saw Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple in a film when I was 10 years old,” Slusher said. “I fell in love with the character instantly. I wanted to be Jane Marple, so this role is a childhood dream come true.”
