Find Serenity Outdoors at Crossroads

Need some time away from holiday stressors? Stop by Crossroads at Big Creek on Dec. 24, 10-11 am, for its traditional Night Tree celebration, when learners of all ages can join the Junior Nature Club’s young members to decorate a tree for the birds and animals. Participants may want to contribute a few apples or sunflower seeds, but that’s optional. Meet at the Collins Learning Center.

On Dec. 28, 10 am – 12 pm, join others in taking a scenic hike through the preserve on the way to the Astronomy Campus. On the way back to the parking lot, explore the amazing scale of the solar system. Meet at the Collins Learning Center’s porch.

When snow and temperature conditions allow, the Ski for Free program is open Saturdays, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, and Sundays, 12:30-3:30 pm. Check crossroadsatbigcreek.org or Crossroads’ Facebook page to review current ski conditions and Ski for Free hours.

Masks are recommended inside buildings at Crossroads at Big Creek (crossroadsatbigcreek.org), 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
