Finding Your Center, Yoga Classes at Kress

In collaboration with independent choreographer Elizabeth Clark, the Kress Pavilion is hosting Finding Your Center movement classes on Wednesdays, 10:30-11:45 am, in the Great Hall. These co-ed classes include music, flexibility and strength building in a casual atmosphere to facilitate finding your center with breath and body balance.

Clark’s post-graduate education includes special studies in dance performance and movement science from the Juilliard School of Music and Teacher’s College, Columbia University.

Finding Your Center is joining the Kress’s long-running Monday Morning Yoga with Liz Heller at 9 am: co-ed beginning yoga classes that are open to all levels of students to learn the basics of the beginning yoga asanas. Participants usually find that they become stronger and more flexible and can learn to quiet their mind.

Class fees are $15 to drop in, $60 for a five-class pass, and $100 for a 10-class pass. Proceeds benefit Kress Pavilion programs. Learn more at kresspavilion.org/winterwellness.
