Fine Line Designs Gallery Hosts “Artists Around Town” Event

On July 23 from 11 am – 2 pm, Fine Line Designs Gallery will host plein air painters on its gallery grounds as part of “Artists Around Town—Galleries and Sights of Fish Creek and Ephraim.”

One of the artists painting at Fine Line for this event is Larry Rudolech, one of the gallery’s featured artists in addition to a featured artist in this year’s Door County Plein Air Festival. A native of Madison, Ind., Rudolech first tried his hand at oil painting as a twelve-year-old. A career in graphic design caused him to not pick up a brush again until 1999, when he joined the Madison Art Club. Now, as a member of the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association and the International Plein Air Painters Association, he wanders the Indiana countryside and city streets looking for inspiration.

Other artists who have participated in the Door County Plein Air Festival who currently have work at Fine Line include Colin Page, Kathie Wheeler, and Lori Beringer.

“Artists Around Town” is part of the Peninsula School of Art’s Door County Plein Air Festival. In addition to the event, the gallery grounds will be open to both artists and the general public from 10 am – 5 pm, and refreshments will be served. For more information visit finelinedesignsgallery.com.
