Fine Line Designs Gallery Opens for Summer Season

Fine Line Designs Gallery is excited to announce the opening of the gallery for the summer season, scheduled for May 5.

“We’re always excited to begin a new season here at Fine Line, and this year is no exception,” said owner Shari Gransee. “Seeing all of the incredible new works from our talented artists and craftsmen makes working at the gallery truly enjoyable, and we’re thrilled to be able to share all of this great art with our visitors.”

In addition to new works by tenured artists, Fine Line is pleased to welcome several new artists to the gallery this year. Two new painters, watercolorist Mat Barber Kennedy and oil painter Shelby Keefe, will be recognizable to those who are familiar with the Door County Plein Air Festival. In addition to Kennedy and Keefe, longtime Wisconsin artist Jean Crane is showing at the gallery this year with her signature floral watercolors as well as Patricia Coonrod, a classically trained oil painter who focuses on still life for her subject matter.

Other new artists at the gallery include Wisconsin-based furniture artist Tony Casper, who specializes in simple forms with an emphasis on unique grain features as well as glass artist Steve Immerman. Immerman will join Coonrod as well as fiber artist Martha Fieber and oil artist David Kapszukiewicz for Fine Line’s first exhibit of the 2017 season, which begins May 26 with an opening reception on April 27, 4 – 7 pm.
