Fine Line Hosts Ireland Demo

Watercolor by Michael Ireland.

Michael Ireland, a large-scale watercolor painter and one of the artists from Exhibit I, will be on hand at Fine Line Designs Gallery to perform an artist demonstration on Sunday, May 29 from 11 am – 2 pm before the gallery gears up for the second exhibit of the season.

The work of four distinct artists will be featured in Fine Line’s second exhibit of the season, which will kick off with an artist reception on Saturday, June 11 from 4 – 7 pm.

Exhibit II will run through July 10 and represent the works of fiber artist Martha Fieber, glass artist Scott Hartley, and painters Jeanne Larson and Tracy Lynn Pristas. Fieber and Pristas will be at Fine Line on Sunday, June 12 for an artist demonstration from 11 am – 2 pm.

As a former mechanical designer, Fieber sought to create her own style of hand embroidery by combining her ability for precision with her love of nature and her new surroundings.

Hartley, a Kansas-based glass artist, said that glass is the “perfect marriage of art and science” and he expands his capabilities with the medium every day.

Larson’s inspiration is found in the rivers and lakes of Minnesota’s north woods or her home garden, and Pristas is inspired by nature and paints landscapes, though she mostly works inside.

Fine Line Designs Gallery, open Monday – Saturday from 10 am – 6 pm and Sundays from 10 am – 5 pm, is located at 10376 Highway 42 in Sister Bay. For more information call 920.854.4343 or visit http://www.finelinedesignsgallery.com.
