Fine Lines Designs’ ‘Exhibit I’ Opens May 28

Fine Line Designs will open its first exhibit of the season May 28 and host an opening reception with the Exhibit I featured artists May 29, 4-7 pm. It will be on display through July 5.

Longtime Fine Line Designs fiber artist Martha Fieber is continuing her “landscape in thread” journey, putting a twist on traditional embroidery techniques through detailed layers, colors and textures. 

Pastel artist Mac Schueppert said she’s always been “completely devoted” to soft pastels and spends time walking the trails of Door County, gathering ideas for her bright landscapes. 

Through watercolor and oil, Dannica Walker explores movement: the frenzied action of yacht racing, as well as the calm quiet of waters and lakes.Exhibit II – featuring glass artist Mariel Bass, bronze artist Nathan Bennett and oil painter Pamela Murphy – will begin July 10 at the gallery (finelinedesignsgallery.com), 10376 Hwy 42 in Sister Bay.
