Firefly Outfitters Teams Up with Open Door Bird Sanctuary

Throughout October Firefly Outfitters of Sister Bay will donate a portion of the sales of bird-related items to the Open Door Bird Sanctuary (ODBS) of Jacksonport. “Since we have so many birds in our store, from folk art to gifts to the many birds that grace wine labels, we decided donating 10 percent of the price of anything involving birds might be a fun way to benefit ODBS,” said proprietor Jennifer Dahl.

The ODBS is a private nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization and the only facility of its kind in the area. Its mission is to raise avian awareness and inspire coexistence with the rich natural world.

Firefly Outfitters is located at 10589 S. Highland Road, Suite 5, Sister Bay. October hours are 10 am – 5:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday through Saturday, and 12-4 pm Sunday.
