First Baptist Church Nearly Reaches Operation Christmas Child Goal

Community Church of Fish Creek delivered more than 200 shoebox gifts to the Operation Christmas Child drop-off center at First Baptist Church of Sturgeon Bay. Submitted.

The Operation Christmas Child (OCC) drop-off location at First Baptist Church of Sturgeon Bay was just seven shoeboxes from reaching its goal of 2,700. With this year’s total included, the local OCC drop-off location has collected more than 20,200 shoeboxes in the past 14 years. The shoeboxes, filled with school supplies, toys, clothing and more, will be distributed to children in need in more than 100 countries around the world. Local volunteers extend a heartfelt thank you to each individual, organization and church that packed shoeboxes.
