First Friday Festivities Return to Sturgeon Bay on Oct. 5

First Fridays in Sturgeon Bay continues on Oct. 5 and the highlighted nonprofits are HELP of Door County, Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP), and United Way of Door County.

Local businesses will have expanded hours with some of them open until 8 pm. Many will feature refreshments and live entertainment.

Untitled and Used Book Store will host a Poetry Reading/Open Mic at 6 pm. Open Mic Night returns to Glas Coffee House at 7 pm.

HELP of Door County is sponsoring a Walk in Her Shoes at 6 pm on 3rd Avenue between Kentucky and Michigan.

TAP will have live music in their lobby featuring local singer/songwriter Kory Murphy at 6:45 pm. Third Avenue Playhouse will donate 50 percent of ticket sales from that night’s performance of Almost, Maine to United Way of Door County.
