Fish Creek’s annual Winter Festival, Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, welcomes the entire family, locals and visitors to enjoy a wacky, fun-filled weekend of games, music, raffles and delicious food.

“Saturday is the main day of the event and we have a lot in store for everyone,” said Fish Creek Community Association Board President Bob Spielman. “Everyone’s favorite games are back by popular demand. We have some great stage events that only added to the quirky fun – the ‘Stumpf Fiddle Jam, Snowshoe Dance and new to the stage this year is an Ugly Sweater contest!”

Also new to Winter Festival this year is a Snow Kickball Tournament out on the harbor; this will take the place of human foosball. Make sure you get your team signed up, at the visitor center, early as the brackets are filling up fast.

Saturday’s festivities at the park wrap up with a fireworks display over the frozen bay at 5:30 pm.
Sunday costume wearers will hit the streets of Fish Creek for the “Fruit Loop” fun run/walk, a non-grueling 1/53rd of a marathon (1/2 mile).

All proceeds from Saturday’s games and concessions benefit Door County nonprofit organizations. For more information visit VisitFishCreek.com.
