Fish Creek’s Summer Festival and Fireworks

Fish Creek Summer Festival and Fireworks will take place at Clark Park on July 2. Festivities will begin at noon with games and food available until 10 pm when fireworks take to the night sky.

Entertainment under the tent will include live music from The Blue Rays from noon – 3 pm; Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns will take the stage from 6 – 10 pm.

Minnow races and a dunk tank will be featured throughout the day. Old time games such as the three-legged sack race and an egg toss will take place from 3 – 4 pm.

At 4 pm the 1st annual Hot Dog Eating Contest will begin. For $5 a ticket, spectators can guess the winner and split a 50/50 raffle with the Fish Creek Firehouse. Up to 25 contestants will have 10 minutes to eat their fill of hot dogs. The top three winners will take home cash prizes. Sign up with Digger at the Fish Creek Information Center or call 920.868.2316. Registration is $20 per contestant and includes a t-shirt.

Local nonprofit and business groups will have concession stands in Clark Park. Northern Door Children’s Center will serve popcorn and cotton candy; Friends of Ephraim Gibraltar Airport will serve lemonade; supporters of YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign will serve corn on the cob; and the Gibraltar Historical Association will serve watermelon. Additional food and beverage selections will be available from the Gibraltar School Booster Club. Beer will be available from the Fish Creek Civic Association.
