Flying Pig Co-owner Discusses Art in the Garden

Robyn Mulhaney, co-owner of The Flying Pig Gallery and Greenspace in Algoma, will address the topic of “Art in the Garden” at a one-day gardening seminar in Wautoma, Wisconsin. Gardening in Tune with Nature, the one-day seminar, is scheduled for March 23 at the McComb-Bruchs Performing Arts Center at the Wautoma High School.

Mulhaney uses representational, functional, and whimsical art in the Flying Pig’s environment and her gardening style is best described as the organized chaos of botanical forms in which art plays an essential role. She has spent 10 years developing garden and gallery spaces influenced by their business emphasis on emerging trends, sustainable practices, education and humor.

The seminar begins with registration at 7:30 am and ends at 4 pm with a drawing for door prizes. A variety of vendors, displays and free informational material will be available before and between speakers.

The cost is $25 and $10 (optional) for lunch.
