Flying Pig of Door County Presents a Meal to Dye For

The public is welcome to join Shelley Ryan, a presenter of Wisconsin Public Television’s The Wisconsin Gardener, in the gardens at The Flying Pig on July 23 from noon – 3 pm for “Meals to Dye For: Silk Scarf Dyeing.” Ryan will demonstrate how to collect and use botanical pickings as dyes for silk scarves. Participants will take home four scarves and are invited to a tasting of Von Stiehl wine.
