Folk Alliance Holds Annual Irish Ceili Dance

The Door County Folk Alliance will present its annual Irish Ceili Dance March 16, 7-9 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. Ceili dances are a popular folk-dance form in Ireland, and Milwaukee-area Ceili caller Joshua Voight will call this one. No experience or partner is needed. Children who wish to dance should be old enough to follow directions or dance as a unit with a parent because this helps to keep everyone safely on their feet and having fun. The dance is free, but $5-per-person donations are appreciated to cover the cost of the caller and facility rental.
