Folk Fest to Present Free Community Concert

One of the more than 60 events of the 29th Annual Door County Folk Festival is a free community concert at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall on July 11 at 12:30 pm. The concert is open it to the general public and features three exciting music ensembles: The Balkan Cabaret Orchestra with Mary Sherhart and John Morovich from Seattle, WA; The Last Gaspé, a band from Madison, specializing in New England, Canadian and Irish style contra dance music; and accordion virtuoso Nick Bratkovich, born in Milwaukee of Serbian emigrant parents. Festival founder and co-director Gerhard Bernhard will play a few tunes with Bratkovich on recorder and ocarina.
