FOLLOW THE HOLIDAY WITH NATURE EXPLORATION

Add activities at Crossroads at Big Creek to your family plans following the Independence Day weekend.

On July 5, 10 am, join the Glaciers to Great Lakes program, when summer educator Joan Wilkie will help participants discover how Ice Age glaciers transformed the local landscape and provided Wisconsin with an amazing gift: the Great Lakes.

Then join Wilkie again July 6, 10 am, for an insect safari. She’ll help participants learn the secrets of insects as they transform from an egg to an adult.

Both programs are free, last about an hour and begin at Crossroads at Big Creek’s (crossroadsatbigcreek.org) Collins Learning Center, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
