Food and Drink Options Abound at Under the Stars Night Market

Under the Stars – Sturgeon Bay’s new night market – has taken over 3rd Avenue every Saturday, 5-9 pm, since July 11 and will continue through the end of August. The section of 3rd Avenue between Michigan Avenue and Jefferson Street is closed to traffic so that visitors can enjoy the additional space on the street, and businesses and eateries can use the outdoor areas to expand their spaces.

Among the restaurants, “Brick Lot, [Trattoria] Dal Santo, Crate, Cedar Crossing and Door County Fire Company are all within the boundaries of the Night Market and are doing an amazing job,” said Carly Sarkis, Destination Sturgeon Bay’s marketing and events director. Dal Santo has tables where guests can enjoy carryout food, and the rest of these restaurants have expanded into the street.

Several vendors are also complementing the restaurants’ offerings. Look for coffee and beverages from Lawlss, freshly made tacos and specialty lemonade from The Spoon, fruit from Robertson Orchards, fresh produce and flowers from Robbens Nest Farm, just-picked goods from Door County Farms, and cookies, pies, brownies and more from Nutmeg Spice.
