Forestry Grants Available

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will award up to $559,680 to cities, villages, counties, tribes and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for projects that improve a community’s capacity to manage its trees, and projects that help conserve, protect, expand or improve the urban forest resource.

The competitive cost-share grants through the Urban Forestry Grant program range from $1,000 to $25,000, and grant recipients must match each grant dollar-for-dollar.

Applications will be accepted July 1-Oct. 1. For more information, visit the Urban Forestry Grants webpage.
