Red Barn in Forestville has opened its inaugural corn maze. Courtesy of the maze’s span of 10-plus acres, you can spend hours exploring more than two and a half miles of trails, test your investigative skills by finding the checkpoints, and solve the “Farm Scenes Investigation.”
Also enjoy the other activities: take a hayride, play corn hole, try mini bowling, take part in a scavenger hunt, meet farm animals and more.
The corn maze is open Saturdays, 10 am – 6 pm, and Sundays, 12-6 pm, through Oct. 30. The entry cost is $10 per person and free for ages 2 and younger.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! On Friday nights in October, it will become a haunted corn maze, where visitors may encounter loud noises, fog, strobe lights, uneven surfaces and tight spaces. Participants should enter at their own risk.
The ticket booth will be open Fridays, 6:45-10 pm. Tickets ($13) include a black light and haunted hayride. Visit redbarnmaze.com to review the safety rules.
