What other issue or issues are a high priority for the town in the term ahead?

Many citizens are not aware of all the ordinances that apply to the Township of Forestville. I would like to see that all of the citizens receive information regarding these ordinances. Why are you the best choice for the board?

I have experience at the town level and also a variety of different levels of budgets. I want to serve the people of the Town of Forestville and continue to focus on cost saving efforts by keeping taxes down in the town. I am very active in the community and will take pride in serving it.

Are there services that the town provides that should be cut or scaled back to save money? Are there services the town should take on?

Every year the town looks to cut in areas to save money. Right now there is not much more that can be cut in a town this size. However, constant review of current spending and creating options if need help cut costs and allow for smart spending.

What other issue or issues are a high priority for the town in the term ahead?

The biggest issues right now are zoning and farmland preservation. The town is currently working extremely hard on this project for the betterment of the town residence. Also, issues of how to deal with rising costs for road work and maintenance. Costs need to be evaluated ever year and more options need to be thought of to keep those costs down.

What is the number one thing the council can do to make the town a better place to live?

With the rising costs of living and unemployment throughout the county, the board has to constantly remember the taxpayers when money is being spent. Also the preservation of the town land to help preserve the great county we live in.

Why are you the best choice for the board?

As I am born and raised locally, I have had the opportunity to know several generations of neighbors through out our local community. As times have changed I feel it is my duty to step forward and help the board embrace technological changes.

Are there services that the town provides that should be cut or scaled back to save money? Are there services the town should take on?

A question of this magnitude is too premature to answer as of this time, as the state is constantly making changes to budgets, that may extend or prohibit funds and their allocations. All services will be reviewed with the communities’ best interest using a quality approach and mind set.

What other issue or issues are a high priority for the town in the term ahead?

Funding is always a priority. No one issue shall outweigh another unless a necessary service is indeed in jeopardy of being lost. Those issues will have to be handled as a priority. My experience will bring a quality minded perspective to the table to prevent issues from being overlooked and dismissed. The current board has done an excellent job and will continue to do so with whom ever the people elect.

What is the number one thing the council can do to make the town a better place to live?

We are on the brink of technology, and being informed of changes that affect the community often requires a more expedious approach for an answer. Furthermore, our community cannot be left behind in the decision making process.
