Foundation Awards $40k to Sturgeon Bay Seniors

Maggie Stephens and Andrew Konop, both seniors at Sturgeon Bay High School, have been named recipients of the 2022 Bordui Foundation scholarship competition. Stephens will be awarded $20,000 to support her attendance at Georgetown University, and Konop will receive $20,000 toward his attendance at Michigan Technological University. 

The foundation’s trustees chose the recipients after considering grade-point average, test scores, an essay submission, an interview and input from the school’s faculty scholarship committee. The Bordui Foundation has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships to 43 Sturgeon Bay graduates since 2003.
