Four Eagles, Three Pioneers on First Team

Four softball players from Southern Door, which tied for second with Sevastopol and Algoma in the Packerland Conference, have been named to the All-Conference first team.

Eagles senior catcher Colbi Jauquet, senior infielder Chloe Lustila, junior outfielder Sophia Counard and sophomore utility player Ashlyn Delfosse all received first-team honors.  

The Pioneers had three players named to the first team – sophomore infielder Naomi Rikkola, junior outfielder Jolene Luedtke and junior utility player Libby Ash.

The three Southern Door softball players named to the second team include two infielders – senior Callie Miller and junior Bella Price – and senior outfielder Tori Marchant.

Sevastopol also had three players named to the second team – sophomore catcher Kayla Ranly, senior infielder Bailey Rikkola and senior outfielder Johanna Andreae.

Players receiving honorable mention include Eagles senior infielder Greta Gutschow and Pioneers senior infielder Claire Haberli.

This year’s Packerland Player of the Year from the conference champion Peshtigo Bulldogs is senior infielder Allison Peters.
