Fourteen New Tourism Ambassadors in Door County after DCVB Program

Fourteen individuals completed the internationally recognized Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) Program offered through the Door County Visitor Bureau on Feb. 23, 2016.  Graduates of the program learned about our local history, area attractions, useful resources, and customer service. These Door County Tourism Ambassadors will provide quality service and hospitality to visitors, which can result in longer stays and more patronage to restaurants, retailers and attractions. The February class was held at and hosted by High Point Inn in Ephraim. Earning their certification were: Heather Kipp, Settlement Courtyard Inn;  Norma Lopez, High Point Inn; Holly Lauscher, High Point Inn;  Anna Mertens, Inn at Cedar Crossing;  Gina Kvatek, Donna Fearing, and Lisa Lopez, High Point Inn; Ryan Heise, Village of Egg Harbor; Michael Fearing, High Point Inn; Chris Weidenbacher, Door County Historical Society; Joe Peredes, High Point Inn; Ed Stone,  Door County Historical Society;  Sandy McGrath, Door Community Auditorium; and Myrv Somerhalder, Door County Historical Society.
