Meg Vermillion and members of the Imuka Singers and Dancers from Bukoba, Tanzania stopped by Charlie’s Smokehouse in Gills Rock. Bukoba is located on Lake Victoria, and fish is a large part of the local diet there. However, smoked fish was new to these visitors, who performed July 9 at the Door Community Auditorium as part of their first-ever performance tour of the U.S.
