FRAMED

A group of Girl Scouts from southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois recently visited Rock, Pilot, and Plum Islands as part of a five-day journey. While on Plum Island, the Scouts helped to plan the construction of an interpretive trail that will follow an old patrol road used by Guardians of Death’s Door as they kept watch over mariners who sailed in the surrounding waters. The girls also shared their ideas for the future of the Green Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Submitted by Tim Sweet.
