Fresh, Local Produce Available at Settlement Shops

Wednesday, June 8, marks the beginning of the Settlement Farmers Market in Fish Creek. Starting at 9:30 am and running through 1:30 pm or sellout, vendors gather along the path that surrounds the shops to sell their fresh and locally grown produce, plants, flowers and handmade items. This is the 13th season for the market, located at 9116 Hwy. 42, just a mile south of downtown Fish Creek. Each week is different from the next, as the local products ripen and are ready to harvest. On sale is a mix of organically grown produce, homemade jams, nut breads, artisan breads, flowers, plants, handmade soaps, Door County lavender body products, pressed flower art, handmade towels and tableware, and Door County photography. Make this your Wednesday stop to enjoy the local products shared at the Settlement Farmers Market. Markets are held each Wednesday through Oct. 19 and are canceled if stormy.
