Fresh-Picked Apples and More at Orchard Country Winery’s Fall Harvest Fest

Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market will host its annual Fall Harvest Fest on Sept. 24, 10 am to 4 pm, with complimentary tasting of its wines, fresh-picked apples and specialty foods.

The fun also includes apples for picking, free guided winery tours – every hour from 10 am – 4 pm; and two delicious contests – an apple cider donut eating contest at 1 pm and an apple pie eating contest at 2 pm.

Hop aboard a horse-drawn wagon ride throughout the scenic orchards or sit back and enjoy the sounds of Last Man Standing from noon to 4 pm. Children’s activities include pumpkin bowling, a football toss, an inflatable bouncer, and balloon creations by Happyness Clowns 11 am – 3 pm. Plus there will be delicious food, bakery, and a variety of pumpkins and gourds available for purchase.

“Autumn is a wonderful time to visit the peninsula – from the fresh-picked apples and colorful leaves to the delicious treats and cooler temperatures,” says Carrie Lautenbach-Viste. “We love watching adults and children enjoy our festival activities.”

Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market is located at 9197 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The winery and market is open 9 am – 5 pm daily and until 6 pm on Friday and Saturday. For more information call 866.946.3263 or visit orchardcountry.com.
