Friday Night Lights Open to All Riders

The Door County 4-H Horse and Pony Project kicked off the first of four Friday Night Lights (FNL) Speed Series horse shows at the John Miles Park and the Door County Fairgrounds arena on May 16. Remaining shows are scheduled for June 13, July 11, and Aug. 15 at 7 pm.

FNL is open to all riders. At each show, points are awarded to the horse and rider in each event. At the end of the series, a super-horse cash award of $500 will be given to the horse and rider who accumulate the highest point score throughout the series. Riders will compete in the following age divisions: Tiny Tot, grades 3-5; Youth, grades 6-8; Junior, grades 9-12; Senior, ages 19-29; and Jack Benny, age 30 and above.
