From Sketchbooks to Final Works

The Hope Church Gallery in Sturgeon Bay will feature 11 local artists in May. The group paints together Friday mornings with Dianne Saron as their leader. There will be many different mediums represented in the show including pastels, watercolor, oil, hand-colored digital prints, as well as pen and ink. Also, a few sketchbooks will be on display. Saron mentions that the class is ongoing, so some things will be in process. Artists in the class include Dianne Saron, Aneta Schloemer, Margaret Gilbert, Barb Wagner, Char Schinktgen, Carol L. Cesar, Miriam Malenius, Evelyn Burnidge, Cheri Stephan, Jerry Richter and Anita Evers.

The gallery is located at 141 South 12th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. Hours are 9 am to 1 pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 9 am – 2 pm on Sunday.
