“Frost/Nixon” Performed at Woodwalk Gallery

Theatre M and Woodwalk Gallery have joined together for a reader’s theater production of Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan on Oct. 5 at Woodwalk.

In the play, British talk show host David Frost has become a lowbrow laughing-stock. Richard M. Nixon has just resigned the United States presidency in total disgrace over Vietnam and the Watergate scandal. Determined to resurrect his career, Frost risks everything on a series of in-depth interviews in order to extract an apology from Nixon. The cagey Nixon, however, is equally bent on redeeming himself in his nation’s eyes.

On Oct. 6 at 7 pm Red, a play by John Logan, will be performed by Mark Moede and Ryan Schabach at Woodwalk.

Red is a moving and compelling account of the greatest artist of the 20th century, Mark Rothko, whose struggle to accept his growing riches and praises become his ultimate undoing.

The performance begins at 7 pm. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Bring warm clothes. A talk back is scheduled for after the show. Woodwalk Gallery is located at 6746 County G, five miles south of Egg Harbor.
