Frykman Gallery Holds Spring Reception

The Frykman Studio Gallery would like to invite the Door County community and all visitors to a Spring Open House on May 28 and 29, to celebrate the start of the new season (their ninth in Sister Bay).

“Trilliums at Door Bluff” by Lucas Frykman.

Heather and Luke Frykman will be around to present, on their big-screen TV, a new slideshow of Door County images, available for sale on a thumb drive, that can be played on a home TV or computer. Then from 3-5 pm a slideshow of images from their recent photo trips to the American Southwest will be on display.

David Frykman has taken a sabbatical from carving and has been focused on painting, drawing from the history and natural wonders of Door County. His new collection of oil paintings include antique tractors and farm equipment, cows, landscapes and shore scenes. He even did some portraits that some of you might recognize.

For pottery collectors, a lot of new pots by Steve Jorgenson will arrive at the gallery for the weekend.
