Frykman Studio Gallery Hosts Reception for Winnipeg Artist

An artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, August 23 for master potter Steve Jorgenson at the Frykman Studio Gallery in Sister Bay. Jorgenson has produced beautiful and functional stoneware pottery in his Winnipeg, Manitoba studio for 35 years. He is also a noted sculptor who creates complex assemblages incorporating wood, stoneware, mirrors and found objects into remarkably sophisticated wall pieces. Jorgenson’s pottery and many of his sculptures can be seen at the Frykman Studio Gallery in Sister Bay. The public is welcome to Jorgenson’s reception from noon – 5 pm. Refreshments will be served.
