Is your child dreaming about a great summer adventure? To help bring dreams to life for children in our community, Rogue Theater has created a Children’s Theater Camp.
Rogue’s dedicated performing artists work with young people to not only develop their theater arts skills but also to increase their creativity. Theater games and exercises will stretch their voice, body and mind. Open scenes and improvisation will help them embody a character, identify obstacles and work to achieve an objective through a variety of tactics.
The Children’s Theater Camp is for students ages 9-15. It will run from June 21 – July 14. Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – 2 pm at the Sturgeon Bay Jaycee Clubhouse, 340 Jaycee Court, Sturgeon Bay. The final class will be held July 16 with a public performance by the students. This performance will be an opportunity for students to share their work with family, friends and the Rogue Theater community.
The cost of the program is $70 for new students, $60 for returning students. For more information or to register call 920.818.0816 or email [email protected].
