Full Moon Ski at Crossroads

The Door County Silent Sports Alliance, in cooperation with Crossroads at Big Creek, will host the first Groundhog Day Full Moon Ski and Potluck Supper at 6 pm on Feb. 2, at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St., Sturgeon Bay. Everyone is welcome and free loaner cross-country ski equipment will be available.

“Please plan to come to enjoy fun skiing, good company and the full moon,” DCSSA Board of Directors member Polly Kuehn said. “Bring a dish to pass and enjoy the evening with friends, family and fellow members. Help spread the word and share this event to your friends and tell them to do the same.”

Fat bikers also are welcome but must stay off the groomed ski trails, riding instead only on hiking trails, according to a Crossroads spokesperson.
