Fundraising Begins for Eagle Tower Reconstruction

On behalf of the Friends of Peninsula State Park, the Eagle Tower Fund committee is kicking off efforts to raise $750,000 to be used for the reconstruction of Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park. The Eagle Tower Fund Committee will work in partnership with the DNR to plan for the completion of this project.

The committee is working toward raising $50,000 by Oct. 15, which will be used to contract with a selected architect and design the new site plan. Further details regarding the fundraising efforts as well as answers to frequently asked questions and updates can be found at eagletowerfund.com.

The Eagle Tower Fund committee looks forward to supporting the upcoming deconstruction of the tower starting Sept. 19. During September and October, as the tower is taken down, the committee encourages local area businesses to get involved and help generate awareness.
