Fundraising Recital and Auction at Bjorklunden

The Door County String Academy (DCSA) presents a Fundraising Recital at Bjorklunden’s Vail Hall on Sunday, May 17 at 4 pm. The recital will feature vocalist Cynthia Stiehl, pianist Judith Jackson and cellist Janet Anthony (cello professor at Lawrence University). Following the recital, there will be a formal reception and a silent auction of the “Vivacious Violins.” A portion of the proceeds from the silent auction will go towards the DCSA Scholarship Program. Six violins, donated by Heid Music in Appleton, were painted on by Door County artists. Tickets to the fundraising event are $20 and available by calling 920.421.0753 or purchasing at the door (cash or check).
