Gallery of the Door County Art League Opens for the Season

The Gallery of the Door County Art League will open its doors for the season on Friday, May 27 at the Top of the Hill Shops in Fish Creek. Open daily from 10 am – 5 pm until October 16, the gallery will feature the artistic creativity of over 35 artists offering a wide range of mediums from paintings to woodcarvings.

In addition to an opening reception, special exhibits and receptions are planned for the season. For the first time, the gallery will feature the work of the award winners in the 37th Annual Salon of Door County High School Artists by the Miller Art Museum during the month of June.

The Door County Art league awarded each of the high school art departments a check for $100 to acknowledge the expertise of art educators throughout Door County and provide art supplies for future art students.

Future exhibits will include feature artists of the week and featured Door County Masters. The Door County Art League offers a wide range of opportunities for promoting and enjoying the creative arts in Door County and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
