Garden Sculpture Auction

Algoma’s “Park of Flowers” Garden Sculptures will be up for auction on Sunday, August 22 at Heritage Park on Algoma’s waterfront adjacent to Algoma’s Municipal Marina.

A social will precede the live auction from 1 – 2:30 pm with live music, complimentary snacks and beverages, and a chance to view the sculptures and talk to the respective sponsors and artists. The auction will begin promptly at 2:30.

The sculptures are part of a public art project developed by Community Improvement of Algoma Main Street Program and have been on display throughout the summer in downtown Algoma. The 23 five-foot tall steel sculptures were designed, fabricated, decorated, and sponsored locally in support of a growing art scene in Algoma. The public is invited to join in the experience.
