Gardner Holds Electronics Recycling Event

The Town of Gardner, in partnership with the Southern Door County School District, will hold an electronics-recycling event – rain or shine – on June 8, 9 am – 1 pm, in the high school parking lot. The event is open to the public, and proceeds will benefit the Southern Door Elementary STEAM program.

Recyclable items include computer towers, computers, laptops and keyboards; cell phones and phone systems; servers, wiring and cabling; household appliances including microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers; stereos, CD players and DVD/VCR machines; copiers, fax machines and printers; rechargeable batteries; and any metal items. A fee of $10 to $30 will be charged for recycling computer monitors and televisions. Assistance with unloading your vehicle will be provided as part of this “drive up, drop off” process.
