Why are you the best choice for the board?

I believe I am the best choice for the board because I will bring a fresh, open-minded view to the board. I am open to suggestions on how to make our town better. Every town has room for improvement, and our residents and visitors deserve the best from our town board.

Are there services that the town provides that should be cut or scaled back to save money? Are there services the town should take on?

With the new budget proposals, I think it will be important to look at all of the services the town provides and ensure we are providing them for the most cost effective way for our taxpayers. I also feel we must maintain services such as the Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services at their highest level, as they are vital services for our town.

What other issue or issues are a high priority for the town in the term ahead?

I believe our town needs to focus more on bringing tourists to our area. We have a beautiful township and we need to capitalize on it. I know with the new budget constraints, some things may not be possible to pursue at this time, but I still believe we need to look at all options to make us a Door County tourist destination.

What is the number one thing the council can do to make the town a better place to live?

Listen to the taxpayers. They are the ones who finance our jobs and the town’s services, if you don’t listen to them; you are not doing your job.
