Gathering Ground Online Fundraiser

Because of the pandemic, Gathering Ground is hosting an online fundraiser instead of its annual Dinner in the Vineyard, which brings together Door County chefs and farmers to celebrate local flavors. 

This year, Gathering Ground hosted its third annual internship program, continued to develop organic management practices for its vineyard and orchards, maintained the weekly farmers’ market on Main Road with Island farms and crafters, and started several new programs.

The online fundraiser focuses on supporting three programs in particular: Donors can choose to Adopt a Forest Path, Adopt an Intern or Adopt an Orchard. There’s also an opportunity to become a Gathering Ground supporting member with a monthly gift. An anonymous donor has pledged to match the yearly gifts of every new supporting member who signs up before the end of 2020.
